There has been a lot of speculation involving the sequel to multi-awarded action-adventure game in 2012, and fans can't wait to hear more. Recent reports reveal that while there has been nothing official announced for "Dishonored 2," more news may come this June.
According to numerous reports found online, Bethesda is reportedly preparing to unleash "Dishonored 2" game details including release date and gameplay this coming June during the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
While there has been no confirmation that publisher Bethesda or developer Arkane Studios will unleash "Dishonored 2" details during the event, fans are hopeful that at least a release date will be unveiled.
It was almost the same time last year when a presumed E3 2014 fact sheet surfaced, reportedly leaking information about the speculated sequel. "Dishonored 2" release date was set for 2016, for PC, PlayStation and Xbox, according to the alleged fact sheet. Gameplay details include a new location known as Tyvia, new characters, and a versus-multiplayer feature.
The rumor on "Dishonored 2" was soon debunked by Bethesda, with a statement that said, "we don't comment on rumor or speculation," reported VG247.
"Developed by Arkane Studios, Edge Online's 2012 Studio of the Year, 'Dishonored' is an immersive first-person action game that casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge," the game's official overview revealed.
"With 'Dishonored' is a flexible combat system, creatively eliminate your targets as you combine the supernatural abilities, weapons and unusual gadgets at your disposal. Pursue your enemies under the cover of darkness or ruthlessly attack them head on with weapons drawn. The outcome of each mission plays out based on the choices you make."
