“Avengers 3: Infinity War” will be featuring Thanos as its villain. However, newer reports have claimed that the Mad Titan, though he was first introduced through a minor role in “Guardians of the Galaxy,” will not be alone in creating havoc for the the team of superheroes.

It was confirmed last October that Thanos will finally be getting the limelight in two major Marvel blockbusters, “Avengers: Infinity War Part 1” and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2.” After the minor part that he got in “GOTG,” some fans were quick to assume that the battle might occur in outer space. However, no details have been provided about the matter.

Those who have read the comic books are well aware that Thanos is deadly enough on his own. Adding yet another deadly enemy to collaborate with him, especially after he obtains the highly coveted Infinity Stones and Gauntlet, will be downright terrifying.

Kyle Buchanan took to Twitter to officially tell the masses that Joss Whedon will not be back to the franchise to direct the third and fourth installments of the “Avengers” franchise. However, even though there is huge possibility that “Avengers 2: Age of Ultron” is the last movie of the franchise that he is going to be directing, he seemed pretty sure that Thanos will be joined by other villains.

According to him, it would be nearly impossible for Marvel to expand a storyline into two huge movies just for the team to battle one single villain. Although Thanos may or may not obtain the power of all of the six Infinity Stones, a two-part Marvel movie is still far too big to host just one enemy, according to Cinema Blend.

Sadly, there have been now news regarding who these other villains are and what they stand for. Still, provided that they do not end up operating separately, there is a multitude of ways that their characters will be featured in the franchise.
