Could Anna and Elsa fight an evil king in "Frozen 2?"

According to latest rumors, the highly anticipated sequel could draw inspiration from another famous book by L. Frank Baum, called "Ozma of Oz."  While details remain to be under wraps as of the moment, director Chris Buck has reportedly shared some vital information regarding the upcoming icy flick.

"Buck pointed out in a recent interview that the protagonists of the film, Anna and Elsa, might be battling an evil king in 'Frozen 2.' The sequel already has an ending but Buck shared that there are still so many things to figure out as they go along the way," VCPost reported.

"'Ozma of Oz' and 'Frozen 2' will have a lot of similarities because Anna of Arendelle and Dorothy of Kansas have a lot of characteristics in common. Both books have a theme of having the power within and just figuring out what to do with it for the best interest of everyone involved."

Buck also shared that there is an immense pressure on his team to make the sequel good.

"Now I'm terrified," he told Stuff. "How do we live up to the phenomenon of the first one? There's a lot of pressure. And we'll put that on ourselves too; we'll be very demanding about how good this one has to be."

"I'm aware, with each movie I do, how it's going to affect people, especially young people. They don't just watch it once - they watch it over and over again. So whatever message it is, whatever the theme, I always feel it has to be positive and empowering."

Buck will be helming "Frozen 2" together with "Frozen" co-director Jennifer Lee.

Meanwhile, rumors are claiming that the hated Prince Hans will be returning to Arendelle as a changed man.

"In fact, there have been hints that Hans may actually return to Arendelle to help Elsa and Anna fend off the attacks of the new villain in order to save and restore peace to the kingdom," Master Herald reported.

"But he has a redeeming value in his good looks, charm, and politeness, which Disney might take advantage of and put into play for 'Frozen 2.' Prince Hans would likely prove to Elsa, Anna, and Arendelle that he is a changed man once he steps up and do something to save the kingdom from a new threat."

"Frozen 2" is reportedly slated for a 2018 release.
