The "Gran Turismo 6" car list has added Peugeot's Vision Gran Turismo for the game's update.

"Peugeot's new supercar promises a unique driving experience for 'Gran Turismo 6' ('GT6') gamers exclusively on PlayStation 3," the auto manufacturer's press release stated.

"Peugeot designers teamed up with Peugeot Sport engineers to craft an outstanding supercar that has all the hallmarks of a high-performance endurance racer, brought to life in glorious high definition in 'GT6.'"

The newest super racecar in the "Gran Turismo 6" car list has a pair of sharp headlights and a four-slat grille with a large emblem of the company. At the back, the Vision Gran Turismo has a spoiler which can extend automatically; huge twin air vents that direct air away from the engine to Peugeot's signature claw-shaped tail lamps.

Peugeot's car features 22-inch alloy wheels in front and 23-inch units at the back. It has a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio at 875 kg and 875 bhp. It also has the ability to go from 0 to 100 kph in just 1.73 seconds.

"At first glance, the Peugeot Vision Gran Turismo reveals a striking monolithic silhouette sculpted to sweep aside air resistance, standing just 104 cm tall, with the notable absence of nearly any aerodynamic features," the company's press release said.

The car can be taken for a spin soon in around 40 outstanding tracks with 107 layouts. It will be published exclusively for the PS3 in six colors.

Kazunori Yamauchi challenged premium car makers last year to create concepts for "GT6." Chevrolet Chaparral 2X has been developed for the series as well as the Volkswagen GTI Supersport and Alpine Vision Gran Turismo.

The design seems to be penned by the same developers behind the Onyx concept from 2013. Racign driver Gregory Gilvert, who drove the 208 T16, suggested that the Peugeot Vision Gran Turismo may be spotted onto an actual race track in the future.
