New xenomorphs are coming in "Prometheus 2"!

Xenomorphs will come in "Prometheus 2" but in different forms. Ridley Scott talks details of what's coming for the sequel, including how different the monsters will be and how they much they will resemble the original alien.

According to Scified, "Prometheus 2" will release two new aliens that are loosely based on the xenomorphs. The news came from a reported leak from a source that revealed a few details to the site. The leak revealed that "there will be two Monsters, one new. Both will have loose connection to the xenomorphs but they will be different."

In an interview reported by the same site, director Ridley Scott explained that while there are of course the monsters returning for "Prometheus 2," the concept of the film will include far more than the "dragons." He said, "it's fresh" and that the sequel  will be "getting away from gods and dragons and shit. If I see one more dragon I'm going to shoot myself. Stop the dragons."

"The alien's real which is why it's probably one of the scariest monsters in film history," Scott said. So with 'Prometheus 2' what I'm trying to do is reintroduce a fresher form of alien in the third act."

Initially it was revealed the "Prometheus 2" will do away with aliens as the same director shared that "The beast is done. Cooked," according to Screenrant.

"I got lucky meeting [the late H.R. Giger] all those years ago. It's very hard to repeat that. I just happen to be the one who forced it through because they said it's obscene. They didn't want to do it and I said, 'I want to do it, it's fantastic'. But after four ['Alien' movies] (he has conveniently forgotten the 'AvP' movies), I think it wears out a little bit," Scott continued.

"There's only so much snarling you can do. I think you've got to come back with something more interesting. And I think we've found the next step. I thought the Engineers were quite a good start," added Scott.
