Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd have reportedly gotten back together. They were spotted on what looked like a romantic date last Monday, even holding hands in front of the cameras as they walked out of the restaurant they dined in.
“We are a private couple and like to keep our private lives to ourselves,” Murgatroyd said, as previously reported by Radar Online. “Although I have been on stage and in front of cameras for 15 years now, I do not think I can ever get used to a camera in my face with everyday life. A relationship is sacred. I love that we save that only for one another.”
The “Dancing with the Stars” professional dancers had actually first dated each other during spring of 2012. However, after dating one another for 10 months, they decided to separate in 2013. Shortly after the breakup, the 28-year-old Murgatroyd was rumored to have dated her regular dance partner, James Maslow.
Chmerkovskiy, meanwhile, was also rumored to have dated Kate Upton recently, according to Venture Capital Post. However, despite the relatively publicized relationship with the model, a source has revealed that “it was never really that serious.”
Apart from Upton, Chmerkovskiy was also allegedly dating his 2014 dance partner, Meryl Davis. However, an insider admitted to EOnline that they were actually just very good friends.
Now, though, when the couple was spotted grabbing a bite together in West Hollywood, news that they have gotten back together had surfaced once again. Amid rumors that Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd’s current relationship is merely scripted, online news sources have claimed that they are actually now much stronger than ever.
“I am dating Peta,” Chmerkovskiy admitted in an interview, as posted on YouTube. “We have been dating. I just do not talk about my personal life – I never have. I was told very early in my life not to talk about personal things. It is not the way I grew up.”
