A new "Gran Turismo 7" trailer may be released at E3 2015.

According to Latin Post, a new trailer for Polyphony Digital's racing car video game might be making a debut at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this year. The event will be held in Los Angeles on Jun. 16 to 18, 2015.

It was previously reported that the release date for "GT7" may be pushed back to 2017 due to the developers creating the game to become a much better final product than its predecessor. Original series creator Kazunori Yamauchi revealed that "Gran Turismo 7" will have everything they could not do in "Gran Turismo 6."

"The high quality of data that we have being rendered on the PS4 I think is going to make an incredible difference," Yamauchi told GamesTM.

"For 'GT7,' myself and my staff have a clear vision: to do everything we couldn't do in 'GT6.' We want to make it very 'Gran Turismo.' By that I mean it's going to be a game that matches the very era that we live in, in 2015 or 2016."

Mike Caviezel, the former Audio Lead for "Forza," has joined Polyphony Digital last April. He previously worked as an Audio Production Director for Microsoft from 2011-2014. Caviezel worked on the "Forza" game series, "Ryse: Son of Rome," "Halo 4," "Fable:Journey," "Kinect Star Wars" and "Nike+ Kinect Training."

Kazunori Yamauchi confirmed that the standard car models that have been constant from 2004's "Gran Turismo 4" will still be there in "GT7."

"I doubt that we'll be throwing away the standard cars," Yamauchi said. "Each car has its own fans. So I think we'll hang on to the archive."

"In the meanwhile, some of those cars we may be able to make into Premium cars as they become available - but basically we're more focused on increasing the number of premium cars."
