"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" plot has introduced Mitsuki as part of the new generation of ninjas, along with Boruto and Sarada.

Mitsuki was revealed as part of the "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" plot in April when character sketches of Naruto and Hinata's son, Boruto, was posted. The character sketch for Sasuke and Sakura's daughter, Sarada, was also revealed.

Mitsuki is described as "an enigma shrouded in many mysteries. A boy with a composed expression... His slightly-long white hair has a waviness to it." His name literally means "full moon" in Japanese. He was not featured in the manga but he was in the "Naruto: The Seventh Hokage" and Scarlet Spring sequel manga miniseries.

Orochimaru has been confirmed to be a part of the "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" plot as the villain. There are also speculations that Mitsuki will venture to the dark side in the upcoming film.

iDigitalTimes reported that Mitsuki may be more than just a ninja academy student at the Konoha village. He may be working with Orochimaru or he could be the legendary Sannin's new vessel.

Along with the mysterious Mitsuki's questionable allegiance, tension between Naruto and Sasuke will definitely change as Uchiha trains Boruto. It is highly likely that Naruto's son will become the greatest ninja of all time if he is able to acquire his father's sage skills and rasengan chakra molding abilities as well as learning Sasuke's fire and lightning technique at the same time.

Other confirmed characters were Inojin, Shikadai and Chocho. Their character sketches have also been revealed. Inojin is said to have beautiful looks like his father as well as Shikadai. Chocho is described as a pudgy girl whose body type comes from Chōji and skin color from Karui

"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" will be shown in Japanese theaters on Aug. 7 but fans can buy tickets as early as Jun. 27.
