“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” second trailer has yet to be released and fans are already starting to get antsy about it. The film’s first trailer hinted on an epic fight between Superman, played by Henry Cavill, and Batman, played by Ben Affleck.
According to Fashion & Style, there is a very high possibility that the upcoming DC blockbuster’s second trailer will be featuring The Flash, played by Ezra Miller, and Aquaman, played by Jason Momoa. This rumor remains unconfirmed, but it has sent “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” fans into a frenzy.
Alongside this particular rumor is another speculation that Momoa will also be shortly featured in “Suicide Squad.” According to the rumor mill, Aquaman will first be introduced into the DCU, or DC Cinematic Universe, in “Suicide Squad.”
It has already been established that Batman and Superman will get off on the wrong foot. However, what fans still do not know is how the film’s other characters, namely Aquaman, The Flash, Cyborg, and Wonder Woman, will enter the storyline.
It is also expected that the second “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” trailer will finally unveil who the film’s villain will be. The rumor mill is abuzz with speculations that this particular foe will actually be challenging both iconic DC superheroes.
As speculated by many fans, Lex Luthor will be using General Zed’s corpse in order to create Doomsday. Once done with his crazy masterpiece, he unleashes the villain into Metropolis. Other rumors have stated that Superman’s archnemesis will actually be teaming up with Metallo just to defeat him and bring him to his knees.
Warner Bros. was one of the studios that took part in the recent CineEurope trade show. The Hollywood Reporter has stated that WB showcased a special footage that featured both “Suicide Squad” and “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Sadly, this video has not been released to the Internet. That said, fans will have to stick to their imaginations for now.
