Rockstar North has been reported to set its sights on a 2018 release date for the highly anticipated "GTA 6" to accommodate the inclusion of the entire US map in its gameplay. Character leads rumored to be portrayed by Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes.
Initially, "GTA 6" release date was rumored to be on 2017; however, latest reports revealed that Rockstar North has been eyeing the release date a year later. According to GTA6GrandTheftAuto, "GTA6" release date will most likely be on 2018 after analyzing previous installment release dates.
This release date speculation coincides with the rumor that "GTA 6" will include in its map the whole of United States. A report by MoviePilot revealed that including the entire US in "GTA 6" map is one factor that will make the next installment bigger than "GTA 5."
"Rockstar are kind of geniuses when it comes to developing an incredible map, and seeing as we're going to need a big step up from Los Santos, all of the USA doesn't sound so bad for 'GTA 6'," read the report.
Although this could be another highlight come "GTA 6" release date, the report also pointed out that having the entire US in its map will definitely have issues. "Driving from one city to another could be a real chore, especially if it's just filled with country side and nothing much to do in between," the report explained.
Meanwhile, latest rumors apart from the unconfirmed "GTA 6" release date are the game's casting that has been reported to include Hollywood A-list stars Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes. MasterHerald reported the rumor that Gosling will take on the lead character come "GTA 6" release date, and will be accompanied by Mendes as the female counterpart.
Both actors and Rockstar North have yet to confirm this latest rumor; however, fans are excited enough to pit Mendes as the incoming heroine come "GTA 6" release date.
