After "Get to Work" expansion pack, gamers couldn't wait for EA's next big announcement for the future DLC of "The Sims 4." Would it be "Pets" this time?

In  a report by Inquisitr, it has been revealed that EA reportedly continued to drop hints about the next expansion pack for "The Sims 4" following "Get to Work." The hints were allegedly from surveys, asking gamers which kind of DLCs would they most likely enjoy in "The Sims 4" game.

Among the many possible additional content were dogs, which in the "Sims" universe mean "Pets" expansion pack. "Dogs: Create-a-puppy to develop new best companion for your Sim," said the report.

"Teach your dog new tricks, practice the hunting collectibles, playing with toys, or let participate in a dog show! Make your puppy and help them grow," it added. "With age, there will be a faithful and loyal companion, or will it aggressive and independent? Your interactions with your dog will shape its future!"

SimsCommunity also pointed out the possibility of having the "Pets" as the next "The Sims 4" expansion pack as a screenshot of the game reveals an icon of a dog in a doctor's thought bubble. This is posted in the "Get to Work" expansion pack, which is a big hint that "The Sims 4: Pets" will be coming soon for gamers worldwide.

While EA has yet to officially announce if indeed "The Sims 4" expansion pack will be "Pets," SimsVP revealed the possibility that updates on the matter will be coming this August during Gamescom in Germany. The EA press conference will be held on Aug. 5 at Cologne, Germany and apart from "The Sims 4" expansion pack news, fans will get confirmation if dogs and wild animals will be added onto the new "Pets" DLC.

The next "The Sims 4" expansion pack, speculated to be "Pets" will reportedly be released sometime between September and October this year.
