What's the real deal between Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone?
Before news broke out that the "Amazing Spider-Man" broke-up, tabloids were all running stories about them getting engaged. Now that the couple has allegedly reunited, do they stay engaged?
Just last year, news broke out that Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were spotted shopping for engagement rings at NYC's Diamond District.
"They were looking for a loose emerald-shaped stone. They want to design an engagement ring together," a source told Star.
"Andrew would be happy with a city hall ceremony but Emma wants something a little more dramatic and memorable," a source told OK! Magazine.
"They want to marry and have a family. They're discussing it. They're madly in love."
Despite all the engaged rumors, speculations are starting to circulate that the two might just be staying sweet for fans, but might have headed for splitsville and not returned.
"It is hard to tell in Hollywood if all is right in the world or if a couple is just putting up a front," Inquisitr noted. "Just a couple of months before their break up, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were seen sharing lunch. Both were wearing their wedding rings."

It has been difficult to assess Andrew and Emma's relationship because they have kept things very private. Both have been really tight-lipped when it comes to their personal lives.
"It's so special to me that it never feels good to talk about, so I just continually don't talk about it," Emma told Wall Street Journal Magazine.
"There's probably some rebelliousness that comes out in me after all these stories and people texting you for weeks about something that, for the most part, is not true. But even when it's false, I would rather just let it be false."
"See, I never talk about this stuff for this exact reason-because it's all so speculative and baseless," she added.
