Dakota Johnson and boyfriend Matthew Hitt might be making the headlines because of news that they had gotten back together. However, it was also reported that her “Fifty Shades Darker” co-star Jamie Dornan have decided to stop filming because of her.
According to The Bit Bag, Dornan was rumored to have fallen head over heels with Johnson. After “Fifty Shades of Grey” hit big screens all over the world, fans were quick to notice that Dornan, who plays Christian Grey, and Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele, has undeniable chemistry. This was even more noticeable whenever the rumored couple did their intimate scenes for the film.
However, these speculations were quashed with reports that Dakota Johnson and boyfriend Matthew Hitt had decided to get back together. Plus, early last month, Dornan also told Belfast Telegraph that it was impossible for him to develop feelings for his co-star since he has always been smitten with his wife Amelia Warner.
Still, despite these reports, Yibada reported that Dornan’s raunchy scenes with Johnson have taken their toll on his marriage with Warner. This was the rumored driving force that compelled the actor to temporarily stop filming the “Fifty Shades of Grey” sequel.
However, Dornan proved that the reports are wrong by publicly appearing with his wife and Dulcie, their 1-year-old daughter, as they headed towards the screening of his movie, “Anthropoid.”
Various celebrities have also been linked with “Fifty Shades Darker.” However, such reports have neither been confirmed nor denied. As reported by Movie Pilot, Henry Cavill from “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” might be cast in the film as its new villain Jack Hyde. Jack is Anastasia’s boss who will be getting in between Christian and Anastasia.
Sadly, though, it would appear that the reports about Cavill being part of the “Fifty Shades Darker” cast were false. He recently confirmed to The Mirror that he will not be taking part in the movie. “I am not in ‘Fifty Shades of Grey,’” Cavill said. “I am for real. I am just messing with everyone.”
