With "Crimson Peak" and "Pacific Rim 2" on his list of bankable movies, Charlie Hunnam has definitely left a mark on Hollywood.

While many were disappointed that he left the role of Christian Grey in "50 Shades," a lot were quickly impressed with how the hottie bounced back with exciting new projects.

Charlie admitted that his part in "Crimson Peak" will be a supporting role, but director Guillermo del Toro who both directed his two new movies including "Pacific Rim 2," confessed that Charlie will be getting major airtime in the sequel.

"Charlie Day has a great part but so does Charlie Hunnam," he claimed. "I think that everybody or most everybody that survived is back. The rest we killed. We killed half the cast."

Meanwhile, fans also can't wait to see Charlie opposite Tom Hiddleston in "Crimson Peak."

"Everybody did a great job, Jessica [Chastain] absolutely killed it, she's wonderful in the film. I think it's one of Guillermo's best films, if not maybe his best film. I'm actually not really in it that much, it's really Mia Wasikowska, Jessica, and Tom Hiddleston's film, and when I'm in it, it's significant, but I really just did it because I love Guillermo and wanted to work with him again."

"If it had been anybody else, I probably wouldn't have taken the role. I had to turn down a lot other stuff to be free to do that. People were like, 'What the f--k are you doing?' but I'm doing exactly what I damn well please. That's my answer," he continued.

Apart from "Crimson Peak," the hot stud is set to appear in a summer release called "Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur," and in "The Lost City of Z," a must-watch movie co-starring Brad Pitt and Robert Pattinson.
