Recent reports reveal leaked photos of Jon Bernthal in the set of "Daredevil" season 2! And by looking at the photos, it seems that there is something missing and it's disappointing fans worldwide.
Many fans are excited about the upcoming season 2 of "Daredevil," as the new show will feature two new characters namely, the Punisher and Elektra. While the production of "Daredevil" season 2 is underway, JustJared caught some photos of Jon Bernthal's character in action along with other photos of Punisher.
As seen in the photos, of the Punisher is all bruised up but it seems that he is missing his signature skull logo on his shirt. According to WeGotThisCovered, the fans may have to wait until the end of the season 2 to see the signature skull of the Punisher---as they did for Daredevil's signature body suit.
The showrunner of the "Daredevil" Steven DeKnight left for the season 2 of the series, but he was still part of the team while they talked about casting Jon Bernthal as the Punisher. DeKnight shared with SlashFilm that the punisher of Bernthal will have more similarities to the comic book version of Marvel, among other Punisher because this is the first time the Marvel can regulate their characters.
Although Bernthal's Punisher will stick to the comic book more, it will be less violent than the other Punisher films due to the fact that they want to keep the show to a PG 16. It was heartbreaking for DeKnight to leave the show, especially since when he left, the team just added the Punisher, which is his favorite character. But he did assure fans that Frank Castle is in good hands.
As punisher joins the season 2 of "Daredevil," Elodie Yung will also join the season 2 of the show. She will portray the character of Matt Murdock's ex-girlfriend from college Elektra.
The season 2 of "Daredevil" will be back in action early 2016.
