The arcade version is soaring and next month, fans are expecting "Tekken 7" updates if not the game itself for PS4. Will director finally announce the release date in the coming Tokyo Game Show in September?

The limited arcade release of "Tekken 7" in Japan early this year has fans hungry for the PS4 version. While there has been no news on the actual release date as of the moment, speculations now have become stronger that Katarina Alves, Claudia Serafino and the rest of the classic characters will finally be arriving on PS4 by September.

VineReport pointed out that as "Tekken 7" director Katsuhiro Harada tweeted his attendance in the upcoming Tokyo Game Show next month, now fans are speculating that the highly anticipated PS4 version release date may be revealed if not actually coming during the event.

According to AttackOfTheFanBoy, however, although "Tekken 7" PS4 has been confirmed in development, the release date remains afloat but with a possibility of coming out sometime this year, or may be early 2016.

"Bandai Namco has kept quiet on the console release for 'Tekken 7', but now we know it will be out eventually for the PS4 and Xbox One," the report said. "The game has already made its way to Japanese arcades, so hopefully the console version comes out later this year. If not, an early 2016 release will be nice if possible."

Rating for "Tekken 7" has been through the roof even though the limited arcade has only been made available to Japan (officially). Reviews have revealed that those who have tried the game, while glitches of course are inevitable, so far gamers have been satisfied.

"It was really a lot of people's first time playing the game, getting their hands on with 'Tekken 7' and I think it's amazing," gushed a MadCatz Team member. "Since 2005, this is the biggest Tekken they have had at EVO... it's nice to see that the Tekken fans are coming out to play. The fans are really passionate about the game."
