"Modern Family" season 7 spoilers seem to indicate that its main focus will be on the Dunphy household.

Apparently, Phil, played by Ty Burell, and Claire, played by Julie Bowen, will be facing some parent-related struggles as their children grow up and leave their home.

Haley, played by Sarah Hyland, has always been portrayed in the show as a "surly teenager." However, according to "Modern Family" season 7 spoilers, she will have already matured and will have her very first "legitimate adult relationship," as stated by Deadline.

Alex, played by Ariel Winter, will also be leaving the nest to go to college. Phil and Claire are worried that she might get involved in certain situations that could potentially render their middle child defenseless. The thought of their daughter meeting attractive university students also terrifies them.

Their youngest child - and only son - Luke, played by Nolan Gould, meanwhile, will be having some personal problems in "Modern Family" season 7 spoilers. It looks like Phil and Claire will be struggling in raising their son, especially now that he has developed "a criminal streak." Although it is worth noting that this could only be a phase that teenagers go through, Phil and Claire are still worried about what he could become if left uncontrolled.

Apart from issues with their children, Claire also has her own fair share of problems. She is having second thoughts about whether or not she should accept the job being offered to her by her father, Jay, played by Ed O'Neill. After all, it is their family business.

Show runner Christopher Lloyd also revealed that "it feels gratifying" to have "Modern Family" win an Emmy award for Outstanding Comedy Series, especially after all that "enormous pressure."

"I remember early on people reviewing the show, saying, 'This one feels like it is built to last,'" Lloyd said. "You never want to believe that because you feel like you are putting a curse on things if you do."
