Fans who are excited for "Elder Scrolls 6" should definitely focus their attention to "Fallout 4" instead.
Latest reports are claiming that Bethesda will not be developing "Elder Scrolls 6" anytime soon, as they are exhausting all their efforts in perfecting the latest "Fallout" title.
Vice President of PR and Marketing Pete Hines has high hopes for the new game, claiming it will be better than "Skyrim."
"I think Bethesda Game Studios really pushes the boundaries of what is possible in a game, in ways that other games don't even contemplate or consider doing," he told IGN. "The team believes that this is the biggest, most ambitious game that they've ever made. And from the guys who made Skyrim, Fallout 3, Oblivion and Morrowind, that's a pretty lofty goal."
"I think 'Fallout 4' can top Skyrim," he told MCV, Christian Post reported. "It could be our biggest release ever. But we will see. It is part of my job to build the megaphone that we hold up to the game, and the game decides how loud it goes. Just how big it is going to be is hard to say. Meanwhile, "Elder Scrolls 6" might not be released until 2018, reports speculated.
Game director Todd Howard claimed that "they prefer to take time about things like Elder Scrolls 6, to ensure that it is ready before they say anything about it, as a half-finished product will not do," Vine Report stated. "Hines even slammed rumors about 2016 and 2017 release, making Elder Scrolls 6's earliest release date on 2018."
