"Frozen 2" cast, plot and release date rumors continue to keep waiting fans afloat while Disney has yet to announce any official details about the upcoming sequel.
While still unconfirmed, it certainly looks like Elsa and Anna will be belting another global hit in the follow-up movie. Not only will it be similar to "Let It Go," but it also entails the sisters' strong partnership to combat evil, rumors hinted.
"I think they'll definitely try to position one song as a Let It Go-trumping central number. At a guess, though, it might be a duet between the sisters. They only shared about four scenes in the first film, so I feel more detailed development of that relationship has got to be the way to go," Tim Robey of Telegraph noted.
"Possibly the sisters will sing a duet about being stronger together while they're being kept separate by some villain or evil force, taking verse about, then line about, and then coming together for a big, soaring chorus," Robbie Collin added.
"After the successful 'Let it Go' song in 'Frozen,' fans are expecting to have a major duet between Anna and Elsa in the upcoming sequel," Master Herald noted.
"If this scene will happen in 'Frozen 2,' it will surely be a wise move for the producers since having the sisters sing along side by side is one of the followers' major requests."
Meanwhile, other plot speculations are hinting about Queen Elsa's untimely demise in the sequel, similar to Anna's in the first flick.
"However, Paddy Power is offering odds of 3/1 that Elsa's end will come, which are pretty strong, but also open to technicality," Telegraph continued. "If she does bite the icy mountain dust, it would likely happen in the style of Anna in the first film, ie: grave threat coupled with a heartwarming last minute reprieve thanks to the love between two sisters."
