"Outlander" season 2 spoilers continue to make their rounds all over the Internet. The reports have tripled in number, considering that the cast and crew of the highly watched Starz show is already hard at work on filming.
Although it was rumored that the upcoming season will be introducing new characters into the story line, there has been no confirmatory news about who the new cast members are going to be. However, Sam Heughan, the actor who plays Jamie Fraser, may have hinted on one particular young actress whom he wants to be part of "Outlander" season 2.
The massive time jump in the series will bring in the daughter of Jamie and Claire Randall, played by Caitriona Balfe, named Brianna. According to Realty Today, Heughan gave away a few hints that he wants the "Game of Thrones" season 6 actress, Sophie Turner - who plays Sansa Stark on the show - for the role.
According to Daily Record, Heughan re-posted a message from The Anglophile Channel that said, "If she was not so busy with #GameOfThrones, would Sophie Turner make a good #BriannaFraser? She is so striking!"
This sent "Outlander" fans - many of whom are also huge fans of the hit series "Game of Thrones" - into a frenzy. After all, Turner does fit the character description for Brianna, especially her red hair.
Show runner Ron Moore revealed on Twitter that they now only had "six full episodes left to shoot," according to Carter Matt. "Outlander" season 2 spoilers will reportedly be more focused on the events that transpired in "Dragonfly in Amber," which is the second book in Diana Gabaldon's book series - except for Brianna's story arc.
In addition to Balfe and Heughan - and a possible involvement of Turner - "Outlander" season 2 spoilers will also be featuring Rupert and Angus.
Moore also reassured the huge fan base of "Outlander" that the show is actually not about to end sometime soon, contrary to popular belief. That said, he revealed that the series will only end once Gabaldon finally "gets tired" from writing.
