"Wolverine 3" may have an "Old Man Logan" plot.
"Wolverine: Old Man Logan" comic creator Mark Miller explained how it could be used for the next installment in the film series. He also teased that he does know what the final "Wolverine" movie would be.
"What would be nice actually is Hugh Jackman playing an old Wolverine and he wouldn't have to go on that diet, he eats 5 chickens every day," Miller told IGN. "He can just slob out a little bit."
The writer suggested different possibilities and alternatives to the "Wolverine 3," "Old Man Logan" plot. "Basically, Wolverine doing The Road movie is the important thing and he has a friend [a blind Hawkeye] with him," he said.
"But that friend could be Cyclops and he could be blind by the fact that his ruby-quartz visor is broken and he has to keep his eyes closed the whole time and everything, but still insists on driving the car they're crossing America with. There's lots of stuff. Instead of the Hulk, you could have the Blob or something."
Hugh Jackman previously teased fans about the "Wolverine 3," "Old Man Logan" plot at Comic-Con a few months ago. Miller added that the continuity stuff is "the most boring side." He commented that "keeping it generally X-Men universe is a smarter thing to do."
The 46-year-old actor has confirmed that the upcoming "Wolverine" movie will be his last stint as the mutant. He also revealed that he wants the film to live up to expectations, adding that he is making sure that the script is perfect.
"I'm saying 'but' and I'm sounding a little cagey because this is the last time I'm playing him, and I have just made the commitment to myself, really, and told everyone that until that script is perfect, until it is that perfect way to sign out, I'm not gonna start shooting," he said.
