Despite being reportedly engaged to Emma Stone, several reports are hinting that Andrew Garfield is not doing well these days.
In a recent interview for his new movie "99 Homes," Andrew gave a startling response about being a celebrity.
"Why the f**k am I doing this?" he told Vulture. "Coming in today to do interviews, I'm like, 'Why?' I know that I'm an actor and it's part of the job, and I feel lucky I get to do that, but with the interviews, it's such a weird thing. What do I have to say?"
"But in fact, I'm still f--ked up in my own ways, and insecure, and scared, and don't really know who I am. Celebrity is the new religion, as far as I can see, along with money, power, status. It's all the same umbrella - the seductive forces of evil, really.... That's right. I struggle with this question every day. Who am I? Do I have anything to say?"
It looks like the actor is facing some serious career issues. As tabloids keep on focusing on his and Emma's relationship, the actor has been reportedly struggling with his image as an actor, including his recent exit from the "Amazing Spider-Man" franchise. How is he doing?
"I'm not OK. I am not OK. That feels really good to say to you," he told USA Today. "I'm really not all right. I'm in the struggle of being a person. I haven't got anything figured out."
"To be honest, taking Spider-Man felt like I was taking control of my path, in a weird way," he continued. "I always wanted to be that character since I was 3 years old. That was absolutely part of my path."
Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone engaged rumors are still spreading like wildfire online despite no confirmation from the couple.
On top of Andrew's current state, it looks like their perfect relationship is rocked by cheating allegations and split rumors left and right. Now that Emma is busy filming "La La Land" with hottie Ryan Gosling, rumors are flying that the two have a special connection.
"If sources are true than this would mean 'The Notebook' star is cheating on partner Eva Mendes with whom he already has a daughter Esmeralda," Movie News Guide reported. "On Emma's side things too hasn't been that great with her relationship status with Andrew Garfield looking a bit complicated."
"Gosling on the other hand also refers to Stone as his work wife, which only gives more fuel to this rumor. The co-stars who are currently shooting for their third movie look extremely happy with each other and that according to sources is not going down well with Mendes."
