Rumors about Prince Harry's girlfriend may have alarmed sister-in-law Kate Middleton.
OK! Magazine reported that things are heating up once again for former lovers Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas. The two broke up last year after two years of being together and have remained close friends.
However, a source told Life & Style that Prince Harry's sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, is against Bonas. "Kate doesn't like Cressida at all," the insider told the publication.
"It's not just that she thinks Cressida isn't a love match for Harry. It goes deeper than that. She doesn't want her in the family."
The insider added that Kate Middleton's dislike of Cressida Bonas may have stemmed from her husband's rumored fling with Bonas' half-sister, Isabella Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe. Prince William was linked to Bonas' half-sister during the time when he and the current Duchess of Cambridge broke up.
According to the source, Kate is "afraid that William sees Isabella as the one who got away." "Kate hates even hearing Isabella's name mentioned," the insider revealed.
"She was obviously upset when Cressida and Harry started dating."
However, the Duchess of Cambridge's warning is not purely selfish. Apparently, she is also worried that Bonas may end up leaving Prince Harry heartbroken again since Bonas was the one who was said to have ended their relationship in the first place.
"Kate's even told William to warn Harry against her," the source added. "She does not trust Cressida."
Independent.IE reported that Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas were spotted together last month as he celebrated his 31st birthday in London. Royal sources said, though, that their relationship is just platonic.
Recently, rumors that Prince Harry and Jenna Coleman were dating surfaced when the two young celebrities were spotted getting cozy last May at a polo party. The 30-year-old royalty had his hand on the 29-year-old "Doctor Who" actress' knee as they chatted the night away.
There may be no Prince Harry and Jenna Coleman romance, though, since the "Doctor Who" actress "Game of Thrones" star Richard Madden seemed to have gotten back together.
