The Rhode Island Department of Health stated that Whole Foods is voluntarily recalling bulk and packaged curry chicken salad and classic deli pasta because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria Monocytogenes, according to the news outlet Providence Journal.

Although no illnesses have been reported yet, the market is taking precautionary measures as the FDA stated that some of the products tested positive for Listeria during a routine inspection at Whole Foods’ North Atlantic kitchen facility, according to CBS Local.

The recall reportedly affects products sold in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey stores between October 18 and October 22.

The salads reportedly have a sell by date of October 23.

Listeria Monocytogenes is reportedly an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and those with weakened immune systems.

Symptoms reportedly include high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.
