2016 is a great year for music as even legendary rock band Radiohead will bring its new album and a tour possibly next year!
Radiohead has confirmed that the new album is done and complete, with only minor tweaks before it's ready for public consumption. In a report by Reddit, it was revealed that, "Good news for all Radiohead fans. Jonny Greenwood said today in an interview with Russian radio Silver Rain: 'We have finished recording the new album, but we keep listening to it and change the views on the recorded material. We hope that soon we will have exactly finish it and start building plans for a next year tour'."
It has been a long while after Radiohead has been on hiatus and the new album release is such a good news for fans worldwide. The new album will be a follow-up to the 2011 release titled "The King of Limbs" and while 2015 release date for the new album is such a big expectation, fans are holding on to that possible Christmas present especially after only a few minor changes are needed to have the new Radiohead album ready for release.
A report by ABC.Net revealed Radiohead drummer Phil Selway talking about the new album details and where Radiohead is in terms of development. "We've got quite a busy Autumn coming up," Radiohead's Phil Selway shared. "We want to finish a record and that's where we're at. We're just launching ourselves into it."
Phil Selway also talked about the new album details and shared that Radiohead's next album will be out of their comfort zone. Talking to NME, Selway said, "For so long we kind of played exclusively with each other and that takes you so far, so I suppose from album to album you try to push yourself beyond your comfort zone."
"We kind of change record to record, try and change the underlying approach to making music," added the Radiohead drummer.
New album release date and tour date announcements will be coming in the next months, possibly even in December for the eventful Radiohead calendar in 2016.
