Spoilers are friends if they only reveal what more fans can look forward to. "Teen Wolf" showrunner talks season 5b details and a movie?
After confirmation that Dylan O'Brien isn't dying (aka leaving) "Teen Wolf" season 5b, fans are now looking for more spoilers that more or less reveal what's coming as the MTV series arrives next year. Forbes revealed in an exclusive interview with showrunner Jeff Davis a few interestingly harmless season 5b spoilers for "Teen Wolf."
The heaviness of the previous "Teen Wolf" episodes is apparent and while fans have been exhilarated with the dark action, revealed season 5b spoilers show that 2017 will be lighter. Jeff Davis said, "['Teen Wolf' season] 5b will continue with horror, but 5b will actually be a little more action."
"It will be a little bit more humor," Davis added. "What I like to say is we're getting our sense of humor back in 5b. It's a much more hopeful, much more optimistic show in 5b."
Another high-spirited but much-contested spoiler for "Teen Wolf" season 5b is that another Argent will be coming, according to IBTimes. While he hasn't confirmed which Argent is returning to "Teen Wolf," some fans are still rooting for Allison Argent (Crystal Reed). Although a resurrection isn't entirely impossible in Beacon Hills, the actress' comeback in season 5b is highly unlikely.
Meanwhile, the same interview revealed that while initially, season 5b was supposedly the last chapter in "Teen Wolf" (where season 6 has since been ordered and confirmed), a movie is said to be on the minds of showrunners and even "Teen Wolf" true alpha, Tyler Posey.
Davis shared this spoiler and said, "I don't really want to do the ending that blows up everything and half the cast dies. I don't know if that's right for this kind of show. Who knows? Tyler and I always talk about doing a movie."
"Teen Wolf" season 5b returns this coming January.
