American Music Awards 2014 Nominees, Performers: Iggy Azalea Scores Six Nominations, Taylor Swift Performs 'Blank Space', Wins

As always, the American Music Awards is one exciting night for all artists and fans. It's the night to give recognition to those who who've made it big this year and of course to see cool live performances from fan favorites. Are you excited to see your favorite stars perform in the 2014 AMAs?

One of the anticipated performances of the night is "Booty" from Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea because this will be the first time that the duo would perform the song on TV together. Other confirmed performers of the night include Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Mary J. Blige, Selena Gomez, Sam Smith, One Direction, Fergie, Garth Brooks, Charli XCX, Imagine Dragons, Jessie J, and Lorde.

For the second year in the row, Pitbull will be hosting the 2014 AMA Awards Show with Lance Bass, Chelsea Briggs, Kandi Burruss, Gavin DeGraw, Frankie Grande, Taryn Manning and more announced as co-hosts of the pre-show.

Iggy Azalea bagged the most number of nominations in six catgeories. The Australian singer is up for; new artist of the year, artist of the year, single of the year, favourite female artist - pop/rock, favourite artist and album in the rap/hip-hop categories. Artists who have been nominated for five awards include Katy Perry, John Legend and Pharrell Williams. Lorde is up for four awards.

It has also been confirmed that Taylor Swift will go home with the first-ever Dick Clark Award. The award, named after the founder of the AMAs, was given to the "Shake It Off" singer for her "groundbreaking" feat in her current album "1989". The album had reportedly sold more than 2 million copies to date.

The 'American Music Awards' will air live on ABC at 8 p.m. EST.
