It's confirmed! An Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears collaboration is finally in the works!

The "Black Widow" rapper confirmed the news on her Twitter account. A fan tweeted at the rapper, asking whether she would ever work with Britney, to which she responded:

She, however, declined to provide further details on the project. It's also unclear if the new song would appear on Britney or Iggy's next album.

Last September, the "Everytime" singer shared that she wanted to do a song with Iggy.

We cannot wait for the new track! With Iggy and Britney in one track it's sure to be one hot video.

The Australian rapper is also set to perform at the American Music Awards on Sunday with Jennifer Lopez. The two would be performing their hit song "Booty". According to a report from TMZ, ABC network executives are nervous over a performance.

"The execs have set the ground rules ... no cracks, no rubbing," says TMZ.

The 24-year-old was quick to address the issue on her Twitter account. She posted:

"Im not sure if the "executives" are 'worried' about me and jlos performance. lol. i haven't even been to a rehearsal for it yet so... 0.0,"

She added, "We haven't been asked to make any changes and there are no plans to expose anyones nipples or vaginas... but.. okay tmz if you say sooooo. with that being said, we aren't performing in turtleneck sweaters either.... hahahahaha ;-)."

Iggy and J Lo join a line-up that already includes 5 Seconds of Summer, Mary J. Blige, Garth Brooks, Charli XCX, Fergie, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Imagine Dragons, Jessie J, Lil Wayne, Lorde, Magic!, Nicki Minaj, One Direction, Sam Smith, and the show's host, Pitbull.

Iggy, who rose to fame after the release of hit single "Fancy," has also the most number of AMA nominations of any other artist this year with six. Other top contenders include John Legend, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams, who each earned five nominations.
