Was Bobby Flay and Giada de Laurentiis planning to get hitched before the female chef started dating someone new?
Rumors have been heavy about the Food Network hosts online because of their very timely divorces from their ex-spouses. Many were quick to conclude that they had something going on even before they parted ways with their partners.
Giada has denied all the accusations and claimed she's "smarter" than to date Bobby. However, rumors don't agree.
"Giada De Laurentiis is reportedly forcing rumored boyfriend Bobby Flay to marry her," Yibada reported.
"As the celebrity chefs have divorced their respective spouses, insiders claimed that the two have started living together and it will not be too long before they announce their engagement."
"When Flay put his NYC apartment for sale and De Laurentiis bought a 5,000 square foot mansion, many cannot help but speculate that it was a clear indication that the two are starting a life together. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, De Laurentiis is counting down the days 'til Flay popped the question and put a ring on her finger."
Before the Food Network host admitted recently that she was seeing TV producer Shane Farley, reports broke about Shane's unsettled divorce to his wife of 15 years. With all these issue at hand, Shane's estranged wife is reportedly upset at Giada's big announcement.
"My client is devastated by what she has learned through the tabloids . . . 'Hurtful' would be a mild characterization," as source told Page Six. "They're just in the middle of it."
Reports claimed that Shane filed for divorce on Mar. 30, and have yet to be finalized.
Giada's reps also commented on the issue saying, "Giada and Shane are indeed dating but did not start dating until this past August." He added that the information circulating online are "outright false."
