Thom Yorke has been taking on YouTube and Google, does this mean Radiohead is ready to tour the new album that the frontman is already gearing up the band's online visibility?

Previous reports have revealed that Radiohead has confirmed that the new album is ready to go. While such a good news for fans waiting to hear more Radiohead music, the band has also shared its hope that as the new album comes out, it will be brought on the road with a Radiohead tour.

Gigwise reported Radiohead guitarist Johnny Greenwood sharing the update to fans worldwide where he said, "We have finished recording of the new album, but we keep reevaluating the work we've done."

"We hope we'll get it right soon, and after that we'll start planning the next year's tour," added the Radiohead guitarist.

While it seems that the development for the new album is on high gear and almost to completion, recent issues brought on by Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke seems to confirm that more fans will see more Radiohead next year.

Thom Yorke has been pitted against YouTube and even Google, as he unleashed comments about the Internet mogul. A report by ConsequenceOfSound revealed the spicy outbursts of the Radiohead frontman, comparing YouTube to Nazi Germany.

"All I know is that they make money from the work of many artists who do not derive any benefit/ Service providers make money: Google, YouTube. A lot of money. 'Oh, sorry, it was yours? Now it is ours. No, no, we are joking, it is always yours,'  They seize it," Yorke pointed out. "It's like what the Nazis did during the Second World War. In fact they all did that during the war, the British too: steal the art from other countries. What's the difference?"

While an acceptable point, some fans now are wondering if Thom Yorke is consciously trying to make headlines after the revelation that the new Radiohead album is almost complete and the tour is almost on the drawing board.

Do you think Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke is using this as a publicity stunt to make news and make way for the new album coming soon?
