"Real Housewives of Orange County" star Vicki Gunvalson is reportedly thinking about leaving the show.

Being part of controversies is nothing new to her, but being dragged into her former boyfriend's fake cancer claims may have been the last straw.

As seen in the finale episode of the show's previous episode, Meghan Edmond kept on badgering about the involvement of "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Vicki Gunvalson in the false cancer claims of her ex-boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, as reported by Radar Online. Because of these accusations, it has been reported that Gunvalson is thinking about not returning to the show when it returns to small screens.

"Vicki does not need the stress that this season has added to her life," a source stated. "You know, she does not need the money! She makes millions on her own! Vicki is going to wait until this season is done to sit down and reassess things before deciding if she is going to continue as the longest running housewife of all time."

Although her exit from the "Real Housewives of Orange County" will dismay Vicki Gunvalson's fans, it is something that her co-stars have been pushing for for so long. "The women are all trying to have Vicki fired!" the insider added. "The ladies want to gang up and try and get Vicki ousted from the show! They think they would fare better if they all were together in trying to get rid of her!"

In her defense, though, Ayers has revealed that she had absolutely no knowledge about the forgery. "Words cannot express the deep regret that I have in fabricating documents to 'prove' to the world that I, in fact, have cancer," he told EOnline. "What I did was wrong and inexcusable. I acted alone without Vicki's knowledge to produce documents for a reality TV show in hopes of putting doubts about my cancer to rest."
