Lauren Cohan could be leaving "The Walking Dead" after season 6 according to latest updates. Another major character death is upon us. Bye, Maggie?

It is still a while before "The Walking Dead" season 6 returns and already, another death has been predicted/hinted by numerous reports. According to a report by VanityFair, "The Walking Dead" season 6 may bring fans to another major character's death, and this time it could be Glenn's (Steven Yeun) pregnant wife, Maggie, portrayed by Lauren Cohan.

"Lauren Cohan-who plays the female half of beloved couple Glenn and Maggie-has hacked off her longish wavy hair," revealed the report. "The cut she debuted on Friday looks cute, but, according to some, could be cause for alarm."

Naturally, people have been closely following the stars of "The Walking Dead" and while season 6 hasn't arrived yet, death speculations have continued to surface online. However, this change in Lauren Cohan doesn't necessarily mean her character, Maggie, will face her death as "The Walking Dead" season 6 returns.

"As was the case when Andrew Lincoln shaved his beard, fans are worried that Cohan cut her hair because she will no longer be appearing on the show," the report pointed out. "There's some spoilery information that might support that theory, but before we get to it, remember that Lincoln's clean-shaven face was all part of his character's transformation within the show," it added.

However, this death in "The Walking Dead" couldn't entirely be impossible as more threats will be coming as season 6 returns. In an interview with EW, "The Walking Dead" showrunner Scott M. Gimple revealed season 6 hints, the likelihood of death and the difference with "The Walking Dead" series and the comics.

"And if you have read the comics, there are a lot of moments directly out of the book when it comes to the Saviors," Gimple said. "And then some really cool expansions of the comic story. And some hard left turns from the comic story that do eventually wind up with a lot of very familiar small scenes from the book and big scenes from the book," he added.

Do you believe these death predictions? "The Walking Dead" season 6 returns on February.
