"Bleach" manga chapter 656 spoilers have revealed that this week's installment focused on another battle.

Kaleo.org mentioned in their "Bleach" manga chapter 655 review that the next chapter will most probably shift its focus to another battle. However, it did not give an update on what happened to Ichigo and his group.

It is highly likely that "Bleach" manga chapter 656 will show how Ichigo and his group are doing. The next chapter could also showcase the new powers that Kira has after being brought back from the dead.

"Bleach" manga chapter 656 opened with Askin watching Gerard as he wreaks havoc in the town. Askin goes on a monologue about what happened to Lille-san.

Ichigo's appearance in "Bleach" manga chapter 656 was a bit disappointing. He was shown lying face down on the ground. His group was worried but he was still conscious and was able to warn them to stay back.

According to Yibada, Ichigo fell into Askin's trap. Chad and Orihime also fell into the Poison Pool in "Bleach" manga chapter 656. Although it isn't lethal, the Poison Pool lowers the resistance of those who step in its radius.

Meanwhile, Yoruichi appeared in "Bleach" manga chapter 656 and attacked Askin. She unleashed her power, the Raijin Senkei.

It is highly likely that "Bleach" manga chapter 657 will show what happened to Askin and whether he was defeated by Yoruichi's attack.

"Yoriuchi shows us why she is awesome, she gets straight to the point, we are in a hurry, so I will defeat you right now," user Blfan commented on a My Anime List forum.

"Though I don't think he is down for good. We will find out if he is down for good in 2016."

Reddit user Blackbankai was glad that "Ichigo got beat offscreen because him falling for a trap wouldn't be interesting but Yoruichi kicking ass is always great."

"Yoruichi hype outbalances the disappointment of Ichigo's offscreening," Redditor Seratheanos posted.
