The buzz that Fifth Harmony is splitting up has been circulating for a while now and the recent amateur videos of Lauren Jauregui performing solo that has gone viral has yet again fueled up the rumors.
At the height of the Fifth Harmony split rumors, an amateur video of Lauren Jauregui performing on a talent show hits of Lady Gaga has caught the attention of fans. In the video, Jauregui is seen doing stripped covers of Lady Gaga hits, "Speechless" and "Paparazzi," from the pop star's first two studio albums, respectively, "The Fame" and "The Fame Monster."
According to The Inquisitr, the amateur video posted by Fifth Harmony fan LMJ Updates, where Lauren Jauregui is seen wearing pink leggings and a black tutu, was recorded before Fifth Harmony rose to worldwide fame.
But despite the fact that the video happened even before Fifth Harmony came to be, it still caused a stir among fans and some were quick to comment that perhaps, Lauren Jauregui can make it on her own; as the video resurfaced at a time when Fifth Harmony is besieged by never-ending rumors about their split up.
"Dunno about you but I need more Gaga covers by Lauren, too much to ask @god?" one fan posted on Twitter.
Fifth Harmony, on the other hand, had already previously denied that they are calling it off for good. All they said is that splitting up may be inevitable in the future.
"We've been together for basically three years now, and looking back, we're very, very happy with where we're right now. But from here on out, we just wanna see-we just wanna hopefully win a couple more awards together; maybe build music together, as well, before we... I feel like we'll probably go our separate ways maybe later on," Dinah Jane previously told Idolator in an interview.
