Before 2015 came to a close, "The Sims 4" rolled out a new expansion pack called "Get Together" but is it worth getting? Find out what reviews have to say.

"Get Together" brings new content to the game. Among them are Clubs - pre-existing or player-created social groups comprised of Sims sharing the same interests.

The feature is "a great addition to the 'life simulation' aspect" of "The Sims 4," according to Otaku Study. People in real life do join groups or clubs, after all.

Also new to the game are two new professions, DJing and Dancing, which also bring several new items to "The Sims 4." Per the website though, these are "more for entertainment purposes," as they don't earn much Simoleons.

"Get Together" also brings a new European-inspired area called Windenburg along with new items players can try out for their Sims. The new area introduces a variety of locales including cafes, neighborhoods and pubs.

But is the new expansion pack worth getting?

Hardcore Gamer thinks players who are already enjoying the game should consider picking up the expansion pack even though it may not add as much content.

However, "Get Together's" new features may not be game-changing enough for some players, according to a review by We Got This Covered. Reportedly, "The Sims 4" still suffers from glitches and loading screens many have complained about.

That said, Twinfinite raised concerns on the expansion pack's asking price, currently at $49.90 via Origin.

Per the website, "Get Together" doesn't really add much to "The Sims 4" gameplay especially when compared to the first expansion pack "Get To Work."

"The fact is that once you've joined a club and had your fair share of outings with them, there's just not all that much left to do with respect to new content," Twinfinite said.

With the review of the game revealed, "The Sims 4: Get Together" is now available for PC and Mac.
