Celine Dion's husband's cancer battle might finally come to a close.
Rene Angelil's battle has been going on for years. He reportedly went under 38 radiation treatments back in 1998 just four years after his marriage to Dion in Montreal, Quebec. Unfortunately, his throat cancer returned in 2015 and the medical specialists told Celine and Rene that there were no more treatment options available.
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Celine Dion is petrified at the thought of telling her three sons, Rene-Charles and twins Eddy and Nelson, that their father may be leaving them soon. No sources are certain that the three boys know about their father's grave condition, however, a close family friend shared that Celine was determined to create magical Christmas memories rather than focus on the fact that their beloved father is dying.
Apart from telling her sons, Dion is fearing life without Rene since he has been involved in her life as her manager since she was 14 years old. Daily Mail previously reported that 73-year-old Rene made a request to die in the arms of his loving wife to which she agreed to.
Rene Angelil's cancer battle is still ongoing, but Dion is determined to create the best memories while Rene is still present.
