Daybreak Game Company which was formerly known as Sony Online Entertainment developed H1Z1- a survival sandbox massively multiplayer online game.

This multiplayer game is compatible for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4. As reported by christianpost, it was originally scheduled to be released on Jan. 15, 2015. It was released as per the scheduled date however was plagued by several technical difficulties.

Players reported that they cannot login to their account or enter any active server. There were issues with the voice chat and AI problems too.

There were multiple patches released to fix the bugs. However it could not be a top favourite game for the gaming enthusiasts for several reasons.

The emphasis of the game was to survive the zombie attacks through team play.

John Smedley, CEO of Daybreak Game Company announced on March 24, 2015 that the game had sold over 1 million copies and was expected to do better. In spite of the unsteady launch this was a whopping figure.

As reported by hardcore gamer, H1Z1 introduced a hospital and female zombie in the latest patch released in Oct. 2015. This new patch will allow players to "Trade-Up" items received from crates.

The animations were made better and the developers reworked on several shooting, running, and reloading animations. They also adjusted in one-handed actions for smoother transitions. With this patch the icons in descriptions were larger and easier to see. Added Force Single GPU option to UI was added.

As per the reports from gamespot, H1Z1 was the fourth highest selling game for 2015.

Twitter had reported about the coming down of the servers for 2 hours on Jan. 5 for regular maintenance. This time was supposed be used for ''Reticle Customisation'' as per the tweets. There were several connection issues reported by the gamers and ''Steam'' replied to various tweets.

Meanwhile, it looks like 'H1Z1' PS4 release date for PS4 is still up in the air. A report by Cinema Blend indicates that it will come after the PC release date. It has been more than a year since it was released and there are still no signs of the game releasing for PS4 anytime soon.

So will H1N1 will be a smooth sailing game with the new patches and server maintenance in 2016?
