The Marvel Cinematic Universe will be bigger this year thanks to a couple of movies that would easily push the boundaries of storytelling that can rival their comic book counterpart. "Captain America: Civil War" is coming to theaters this May and would feature a battle between the greatest superheroes of Marvel.

But aside from Captain America, Iron Man and other superheroes that have made an appearance in movies, another character is set to be introduced this November. "Doctor Strange" will get its wide release on November 4, 2016 with Benedict Cumberbatch playing the title role according to IMDB.

Supporting the British actor is Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton who will be playing the "The Ancient One" and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mondo.

The story of "Doctor Strange" will focus on how he became one of the Marvel's superheroes. Cinema Blend has already posted the plot of the upcoming movie:

"After his career is destroyed, a brilliant but arrogant surgeon gets a new lease on life when a sorcerer takes him under his wing and trains him to defend the world against evil. "

As an origin story, learning how Doctor Strange became a powerful sorcerer is to be expected. But another clue was learned about the upcoming film and it was revealed on EW's cover about Doctor Strange:

Doctor Strange's source of power rests on his amulet he wears on the cover. According to Screen Rant, the amulet is known as the Eye of Agamotto, "a central part of the Doctor Strange character in Marvel Comics that has mysterious origins tied to powerful mystical beings."

The amulet that powers Doctor Strange could be more. Entertainment Weekly was able to talk about the amulet with Kevin Feige (Marvel Studio's Head) and refers to the amulet with the power that could "screw around with time." With that statement, Doctor Strange might be holding the time gem - one of the two remaining stones to be revealed in Marvel Cinematic Universe according to Screen Crush.
