Long-time couple Beyonce and Jay Z remain mum about rumors that they are working on a joint album but a songwriter and producer have apparently confirmed the news.
Ace Showbiz, in its report, said that songwriter Glass John, who while ranting about the delay of Rihanna's "Anti" album, revealed that he was hired by Beyonce and Jay Z to write for their joint album.
Glass John has mentioned about the power couple's joint album in between a series of tweets, where he blames Rihanna's rumored boyfriend Travis Scott to be the cause of "Anti's" delay. Talking about Beyonce and Jay Z's joint album, he revealed in Twitter: "I am actually working my ass [off] to get on this Jay Z and Beyonce album."
And the only detail he shared about the upcoming joint album is: "It's going to be #HUGE..."
This is not the first time, however, that someone, other than Beyonce and Jay Z, has confirmed that a joint album is on the way.
Last year, Fuse host DJ Skee revealed that Beyonce and Jay Z's joint album is nearly done and the couple plans to drop it exclusively via Jay Z's streaming music service, Tidal. The joint album, accordingly, is seen to be the boost that Tidal needs as it is still having a slow start.
Even hip-hop producer Detail also hinted about Bey and Jay Z's collab, saying, "I'm working with a couple of new projects that I don't want to unveil, and then me and Beyonce and Jay Z are actually doing something together this year." Prior saying this, Detail told the press, "When you think of Jay and Bey together, you think 'album.' You should already know."
Detail had his first career Grammy for Beyonce and Jay Z's collab, "Drunk In Love," which won as Best R&B performance last year.
