There being no feature about the new MacBook lineup during the Apple event in September last year had the people largely speculating and predicting over the upcoming new laptop models, including the MacBook Pro 2016.

The last update for MacBook Pro was in March 2015 and May 2015 for the 13-inch and 15-inch models of Apple MacBook Pro, respectively.

How much would be changed and updated for the upcoming latest models of Apple MacBook Pro? Macworld, in its report, said that users will be seeing a bit of makeover for the new Apple MacBook Pro 2016. What's inside is what counts, however, and according to Macworld, MacBook Pro 2016 will finally get the Skylake chips. If this materializes, Macworld believes many professional Mac users will truly be happy.

Currently, the 13-inch MacBook Pro is in the Intel Broadwell processor while the 15-inch version is in an older Haswell processor, the performance of which is not highly ssfactory for many users.

Australia Network also reported that the new versions of MacBook Pro will include the Touch ID, Force Touch track pad and an improved battery life. The report also mentioned about the CBS segment, "60 minutes," that had a sneak peek into Jony Ive's design studio, where fans noticed a laptop believed to be the prototype of MacBook Pro 2016. The laptop in question seemed to be a sleeker, which users expect to be also lighter than the current models.

Meanwhile, Parent Herald speculates that the MacBook Pro 2016 and the MacBook Air 2016 will be solar-powered. According to the report, Apple had recently acquired a solar-related patent and it is likely that the tech titan will take advantage of it and use it to make its new models more edgy.

Analysts believe that the new MacBook lineup will be presented either in a rumored March event or during the Worldwide Developers Conference in June.
