The golden globe award brought back the memories of the 1997 super hit James Cameron film ''Titanic'' starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.

At Beverly Hilton on Jan. 10, 2016 the 40-year old Winslet congratulated Dicaprio after he won his Golden Globe award in the ''Best Actor for Drama'' category for his role in ''The Revenant.'' Mail online reported the reaction of the fans by looking at this iconic embrace.

''The Revenant'' got a rating of 8.3/10 from IMDb and 77% from Metacritic. ''The Revenant'' premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Dec. 16, 2015 and had a limited release on Dec. 25, 2015. It had a wide release on Jan. 8, 2016 in the US and after this Golden Globe is expected to do a magnanimous business in the box office. This American biographical Western Epic film is set in 1823 Montana and South Dakota, USA.

The business insider talked about the reaction of the fans when they saw Dicaprio and Winslet hugging. ''Titanic'' arguably remains both their most famous roles, now almost 20 years old.

In "Titanic," Winslet starred as Rose, a 17-year-old aristocrat, who falls in love with Jack played by DiCaprio. Jack was a poor artist who had won his ticket in the third class deck of Titanic in a poker game. They were in the maiden voyage on the iconic ship ''Titanic'' which sinks at the end. Jack sacrifices his own life to save the life of his sweetheart Rose.

That scene brought tears to the eyes of the viewers then and after almost two decades, their union had the same kind of impact on the audience.

The magic of the movie is so empowering that till date couples go to various museums across the world and take pictures on ships imitating the open arms pose of Jack and Rose.

Sunday evening was special even for Winslet as she won for Best Supporting Actress in "Steve Jobs''. So will 2016 bring the duo together in some other iconic film?
