As per the last report of YHM, the fans are waiting with a bated breath for the release of "Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3'' in 2017.
"Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" is an action role-playing game developed for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox and Xbox 360 by Raven Software and published by Activision. It was released in Oct. 2006 and was a very popular game. Japan was only able to see a Wii and PS3 release.
"Marvel Ultimate Alliance" is set within the fictional Marvel Universe and features many of the superheroes, supervillains, and supporting characters that appear in publications by Marvel Comics.
A sequel, "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2," was developed for multiple platforms by Vicarious Visions, n-Space and Savage Entertainment and released in 2009.
Looking at the success of both the games, in partnership with Telltale Games Marvel will launch a game in 2017 and that mystery title might be "Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3."
The massive project may be released on PC and consoles such as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There are no announcements yet on whether it will be released for Wii U and last-gen platforms.
As reported by Marvel Fan Fiction Wikia, this game will also be based around the Marvel comic roster of heroes which features as many as 140 characters including many of the superheroes, supervillains, and supporting characters that appear in publications by Marvel Comics.
Captain America, Deadpool, Doctor Strange, Elektra, Ghost Rider are some of the playable heroes which captivate the players. Krang, Kurse, Loki and Doctor Doom are some of the villains in this popular series.
"Ultimate Alliance" is the third Marvel title to be developed by Raven Software, and features similar gameplay to their previous Marvel titles, ''X-Men Legends'' and ''X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse''.
