New ‘Batman' Game By ‘Telltale’ Release Date Set In 2016? Will It Be Available For PS4, Xbox One And PC?

Will fans finally get their hands on another "Batman" game franchise in the near future?

As reported by EW, a new series based on the world of Batman is coming in 2016. Telltale Games announced a new episodic Batman game during ''The Game Awards'' in Los Angeles, CA. The series will release in 2016 for consoles, PC, Mac, and mobile devices.

Notable titles by Telltale include adventure-game adaptations of ''Sam & Max''; ''Homestar Runner''; ''Monkey Island''; the movie series ''Back to the Future'' and ''Jurassic Park''; the comic book series ''The Walking Dead'' and ''Fables''; the HBO TV series ''Game of Thrones''; ''Tales from the Borderlands'', a spinoff to the video game series ''Borderlands''; and the series ''Minecraft: Story Mode'', a spinoff to the video game ''Minecraft''.

The official website reported in Dec.2015 that, Telltale Games, with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment, announced in Dec. 2015 that an interactive episodic game series based on DC Comics' iconic Batman that is set to premiere in 2016.

As reported by comicbooks, Telltale announced, "At Telltale, we've been honored to bring our unique approach to interactive storytelling to some of the biggest entertainment franchises in the world, and we're excited to announce that we'll soon be exploring what it means to be Batman in an all-new series starting next year."

"This iteration of Batman will give fans a first-hand opportunity to dive deeper into the complex life and mind of Bruce Wayne, the duality of his own identity, and the struggle of responsibility in saving a city overcome with corruption and villainy."

The new teaser for this game too was launched at the '' The Game Awards''.

Batman is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger, and first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in May 1939.

Batman's secret identity is Bruce Wayne, an American billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, and owner of Wayne Enterprises.

The gaming world is waiting patiently for the release of this new game.
