A new "Suicide Squad" trailer will be released very soon and all eyes are on Jared Leto's joker as reports confirm that Trailer 2 will feature more of the maniacal character since not much has been seen of him yet.

Jared Leto certainly has a large shoe to fill for portraying the Joker, as everyone certainly know how the character had given Heath Ledger an Oscar Award for his performance in "The Dark Knight."

Flickering Myth, in its report, accordingly said that "Suicide Squad" director David Ayer is definitely confident that people will love Jared Leto as the Joker. "He's the king of the Planet Joker," director David Ayer even said in an interview with USA Today, perhaps suggesting that the actor is the best cinematic Joker.

In an interview with Empire magazine last year, Jared Leto opened up about having a "period of detachment" during the role, saying that the process was "painful, like giving birth out of my prick-hole."

"I took a pretty deep dive. But this was a unique opportunity and I couldn't imagine doing it another way. It was fun, playing those psychological games," Leto said.

In the same feature, director David Ayer described Jared Leto's Joker as "scary," saying, "There's a power to that character and by some freaking miracle, through the incredible things Jared has done and the photography and all the other things that went into it, we've cooked up something transcendent."

Meanwhile, Ayer on Monday posted on Twitter a new "Suicide Squad" cast photo with the caption: "#skwad"

The photo features Harley Quinn [Margot Robbie], Deadshot [Will Smith], Rick Flag [Joel Kinnaman], Captain Boomerang [Jai Courtney], Katana [Karen Fukuhara] and Killer Croc [Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje], where the squad seemed to be cornered and ready to fight.

Very noticeable in the picture, however, is the glaring absence of Jared Leto's Joker. International Business Times took the photo as another interpretation of David Ayer's statement, "he's the king of the planet Joker." In other words, Joker is the king in his own world, which means that the character is not really the best team player.
