"One Punch Man" anime season 2 will reportedly have a "Dragon Ball Z" crossover.
According to BitBag, Saitama remains to be the "most powerful hero known to man." However, the publication speculated on what will happen if he battles with some of the world's most powerful superheroes.
In season one's finale, "One Punch Man" episode 12, the hero-for-fun was finally able to defeat Lord Boros with a series of serious and powerful moves. The latest installment in the series showed that Saitama was still the strongest hero in the universe.
With rumors that "One Punch Man" anime season 2 will be delayed, with a November or December release date, loyal viewers are left to their own devices. Bitbag reported that a lot of fans are making fan-fictions about the hero's adventures.
Moreover, some of these fan-made novels and art involve crossovers of popular franchises. One image showed the Saiyan Prince, Vegeta, from the "Dragon Ball Z" series, sparring with Saitama.
Apparently, the hero-for-fun got lost in the "Dragon Ball Z" world and stumbled upon Vegeta in an isolated area. Although both of the powerful heroes haven't shown their real powers, the website noted that the "conclusion will result on a draw."
"One Punch Man" has captivated audiences from around the world with a refreshing change from the usual plots of its genre. Emertainment Monthly even deemed it as "the perfect choice for fans that need a breather from the grittier, heavier shonen manga."
Meanwhile, Anime News Network reported that the first volume of "One Punch Man" manga has nabbed the #3 spot on Nielsen BookScan's Top 20 list for December. Its second and third volumes ranked #12 and #15, respectively.
Yusuke Murata admitted last month that he will try his best to release "One Punch Man" anime season 2 soon. "Murata said that he will work hard to make it possible," Anime Corner wrote.
