For every anime and manga fans, "Naruto" and its sequel anime series "Naruto: Shippuden" is the landmark for everything anime and manga in the modern age.

Although it is not the first of its kind to capture the world's imagination of ninjas, the mythology and characters that surround the protagonist have made it a well-regarded work of art.

According to My Anime List, the original "Naruto" ran from 2002 to 2007 and was immediately followed by "Shippuden." There is no announcement on the final episode of "Naruto: Shippuden" but with its manga coming to an end, a new chapter is bound to begin.

Anime News Network reported that the story in the world of Ninjas continues with Naruto's son, Boruto. The manga will be published monthly in Weekly Shonen Jump and according to Viz, "new monthly series will run simultaneously in the English language version of 'Shonen Jump'"

Naruto's creator Masashi Kishimoto is still part of the upcoming sequel. However, instead of working as an illustrator, he will limit his capacity as the supervisor. But fans should not be disheartened with this news: his assistant, Mikio Ikemoto will take over as illustrator according to Movie News Guide.

News on the actual story on the manga is scarce. However, it is widely believed that the manga will base its beginnings from the "Boruto: The Naruto Movie." There is a possibility that it will simply continue the story of the movie which practically sets a great tone for the manga. Viewer reviews of the movie were mostly positive as it's currently ranked at 96% in Rotten Tomatoes.

If the manga takes off from the anime movie, there is a big chance that fans will see a great deal of action not only from Boruto but also from Naruto and his contemporaries. After all, when Naruto was just a "genin," Hokages were also fighting in behalf of the village.
