Jon Bon Jovi has recently confirmed that the band is set to release a new album and go on a tour this 2016.

As per fashionnstyle.com, the band is set to release a new album called "This House Is Not For Sale" to be released in March 2016. This new album will be the first time in a long time that the band got together and recorded the music. The previous albums had each member do tracking and recording in different venues with the producer patching everything up to make the final output.

According to themusicuniverse.com, this new album is expected to be the first without guitarist Richie Sambora. The lead guitarist reportedly left the band so he could spend more time with his daughter as reported by hollywoodreporter.com. "I just started spending time with my kid between [tour] legs, and my spirit wouldn't pull myself out the door," Sambora said. "I just needed to be home."

"I thought maybe we should have taken more time between the last tour and this tour," he added. Despite this, Sambora is still making his own records and previously recorded "Come Back as Me" and "Engine 19" as his solo singles. Sambora also mentioned that there is still hope that he could join the band again in the future.

As per stereogum.com, the band's last release was a fan album called "Burning Bridges" but according to the lead singer was only to fulfill their contract with their label Mercury Records.

"[It fulfills] a commitment to Mercury Records," Bon Jovi explained. "After 32 years, we have parted ways. That is the big news. If you listen to 'Burning Bridges,' the song, it is clearly spelled out ... This hits it right in the head and tells you what happened. Listen to the lyrics because it explains exactly what happened. And that's that."
