Madonna may be dating her ex-husband Sean Penn again after the two were spotted holding hands at the Annual Help Haiti Home Gala a few days ago.
According to Radar Online, the singer's son Rocco Ritchie wasn't thrilled about their reunion.
The Queen of Pop was seen with her two children Mercy and David, who both seem to approve their mom's renewed relationship with the 55-year-old actor. However, her 15-year-old son flew to London to be with his dad, Guy Ritchie, and he reportedly doesn't want to go back home.
Based on previous reports, Madonna's teenage son got tired of her tour and lifestyle that's why he prefers staying with his dad because he enjoys the freedom of doing anything he wants. Despite being a successful filmmaker, Guy managed to keep a private life in London.
"When Rocco is in England he gets to live a low-key life," an insider told The Sun. "He can go about his business and talk to girls without paparazzi stalking him."
However, new reports revealed the real reason why Rocco started rebelling from his mother.
According to Radar, the teenager was upset when he found out that Madonna is dating Sean Penn again.
"[Madonna] loves Sean as much as she did when they first met," an insider confirmed. "They are together. That's why Rocco left."
No matter how much his mother tried to explain that the two-time Academy Award winner is a good guy and denied the rumors that he has been hurting her, the teenager still doesn't approve of Sean Penn for Madonna.
"He hates Sean," their source revealed.
The 57-year-old singer is reportedly devastated that her son chose to be with his father, but "The Gunman" star has been very supportive of her.
"It was Sean who suggested she petition Rocco's return via the courts," an insider told Radar. "It's a big step for Madonna to air her dirty laundry like this, but she's not going to sit back and let [her ex-husband] Guy steal Rocco away."
With Madonna reportedly dating Sean Penn again, the singer is now torn between her rekindled romance with her ex-husband and her relationship with her son.
