''Friends'' the sitcom aired for the first time in 1994 never ceases to attract the attention of the viewers. It was originally aired on NBC from Sep. 22, 1994, to May 6, 2004, lasting ten seasons.
It could not have been sweeter for the viewers for this popular TV series to revisit the characters again on NBC on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016 at 9 PM when there is a ''Reunion of the entire cast''.
As per the information on E online, this news was confirmed by the entire cast Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani) and David Schwimmer (Ross Geller).
The entire cast will unite to take part to honor the legendary sitcom director James Burrows. It is not yet confirmed if all the six original actors will be able to be present for this reunion, making it a ''Central Perk'' chit- chat evening for the lovers of ''Friends''.
"Hoping that all six of them will be in the same room at the same time, but I'm not sure we can logistically pull that off," NBC's Robert Greenblatt stated.
The viewers who were teenagers in the 1990s are nearing forties now, however, the charm of this serial did not wear off. With the news of Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox dating, the viewers are all the more eager to view this ''reunion'' with nail-biting anticipation.
''Friends'' lasted for ten seasons and was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman. The series was produced by Bright/Kauffman/Crane Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television. The original executive producers were Kevin S. Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane.
