Mariah Carey again has a Christmas hit which the fans can buy as a single. "All I Want For Christmas Is You," which has truly entered the holiday canon again since its release in 1994.

After many years of domination, the song somehow lost its top spot as the most played Christmas songs in the last few years. Huffington post reported that Mariah's Christmas song was back as a popular Christmas choice in this festive season.

The people have talked about the ''Queen of Christmas'' music bringing cheer and joy to New York City after performing at the Beacon Theatre on Dec. 17, 2015.

Carey rose to prominence after releasing her self-titled debut studio album ''Mariah Carey'' in 1990. This album spawned four consecutive number one singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart; "Vision of Love,""Love Takes Time," "Someday," and "I Don't Wanna Cry."

Her studio album, titled ''Merry Christmas II You,'' was released on Nov. 2, 2010. The track list included six new songs as well as a remix of "All I Want for Christmas Is You." ''Merry Christmas II You'' debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 with sales of 56,000 copies.

This album became Carey's 16th top ten albums in the United States. This album debuted at number one on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The super-duper success of this album made it only the second Christmas album to top this chart.
